Buying Gold in Africa? Read This Before Any Money Moves

Every week, buyers lose tens of thousands of dollars in African gold deals that were doomed before they started. Tungsten-filled bars. Forged mining licenses. Assay certificates printed the night before.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: most gold scams don't succeed because the fraud is sophisticated. They succeed because the buyer was in a hurry. Scammers look for one thing - a buyer eager to close quickly without proper verification. Slow the deal down with real checks, and most fraudsters simply disappear.

Three rules that will save you: No license, no transaction. Verify before money moves. Demand traceability. In Zambia, licensed trading operates under the 2015 Mines and Minerals Development Act - the paperwork either exists or it doesn't.

At EME Africa, our five-step verification process means every transaction is documented, verified, and traceable to institutional standard - before any financial commitment is made.
